Edward Burnett Taylor Rest In Peace

Edward Burnett Taylor was a trailblazer in his anthropological analysis of religion, but he failed to explain why certain people felt the need for certain rituals, items, dress and practice.  The role of receptive psychology is essential to understanding how the vessel in the form of the recipient or initiate is prepared & fashioned so that he or she might receive a tangible and/or discernible benefit from the ritual act.
