CHARGE VI
Concerning MASONS Behaviour
1. Behaviour in the Lodge before closing
You must not hold private Commitees, or separate Conversation, or separate Conversation, without Leave from the Master; nor talk of any Thing impertinent, nor interrupt the Master or Warden, or any other Brother speaking to the Chair ; nor act ludicrously while the Lodge is engaged in what is serious and solemn; but you are to pay due Reverence to the Master, Wardens, and Fellows, and put them to worship.

I've never understood why some folks wait to talk during the opening and closing when these are two of the most solemn and charged moments of ritual in a masonic meeting.
